Important Notice: Visa and Passport Processing in December 2011:
The Fiji High Commission & Fiji Consulate General’s Office (Sydney) will be operating on reduced staff during the 2011 Christmas & New Year holiday period from 22nd December 2011 to 3rd January 2011.
During this period, the High Commission and Consulate General (Sydney) will only process visa applications for genuine emergency travel, such as a medical emergency (proof of the need for urgent travel is required). Please note that visa applications for tourism, work and study generally do not warrant expedited processing on the grounds of an emergency. Applicants are advised note the new processing periods before purchasing an air ticket.
For a Certificate of Identity (emergency travel document) for Fiji Citizens, the normal 5 day processing period remains unchanged (proof of the need for a CI is required). CI applicants are advised to contact the High Commission via email:
