There are two types of permits: (i) work permit; and (ii) investor permit.

·       Work: - A work permit is normally given for a maximum period of three years. Applications for work permits must be submitted in the relevant form with a letter of offer of employment issued by the prospective employer. 

 ·       Investor permits:- ; An application to invest in Fiji will have to be submitted to the Fiji Islands Trade and Investment Bureau (FTIB).  Officials of the FTIB will assess the proposed project before a decision is made.  Additional information on investing in Fiji may be obtained from www.ftib.org.fj
